If you identify a print book that you wish to locate in the library, you use the call number to locate it on the shelf.
The Guide to Locating Books handout outlines the process of locating a book on the shelf and the Library of Congress Classification System handout provides a broad outline of the system we use to organize the books on the shelves by topic.
The library offers about 42,000 print books and over 590,000 Ebooks! Use Primo to locate them - select the Everything option if you are looking for Ebooks and then limit to Material Type "Books."
Often students require an authoritative overview of their artist, band, time period, etc. and a reference book is often the best source for this. We offer many great reference books online.
