Articles from JCC databases

The Library has several databases where you can find information and research on sports. There are also several health databases which are good for wellness research. Some are more consumer oriented while others can be quite technical and scholarly. There are other databases under topics such as Business or Psychology which may be appropriate, depending on your research needs. Find more on the Library's databases web page. Follow these instructions for logging into the databases.

General topic databases are a good starting point for sports information. These are listed first.   If you are researching sports business there are several good choices for business databases listed below and there are also some suggested databases for health topics.

Your Librarians / Ask for Help

Need help with something? Ask Us for Help!

If you are on-campus you are encouraged to stop by the Library and ask for help, we welcome the opportunity to work with you.

If you are off-campus and we are open your best option is to call the Reference Desk at 315-786-2482 and ask for one of us. You can also contact us via email or if you need immediate assistance and we are not open, you can chat with a librarian online (likely not a JCC librarian, but helpful nonetheless) as outlined on our "Ask for Help" web page.

We look forward to working with you!
