Access the Wall Street Journal

Access your subscription to the Wall Street Journal

  1. Point your browser to:  http://wsj.com
  2. Click the “Signin" or "Login” link on the upper right hand side of the screen and enter your JCC email username and the password you created.

Account Creation

Please note:  You must use your JCC email address when you create your Wall Street Journal access account. For students this is your MyJCC portal username with @live.sunyjefferson.edu    For example, a student named John Student, born on March 10th would have this JCC email address: jstudent0310@live.sunyjefferson.edu

If you get a “404 Page Not Found” error message try going to www.wsj.com/delete_cookies to delete anything that might be cached.  Also reload the page, change your browser and/or reboot.

  1. For Account type, select “Student” if you are a student and enter your expected graduation month and year. Faculty and staff members should select the appropriate category.
  2. Enter your first and last names
  3. Enter your JCC email address
  4. Create your own password.  Password must be 5-15 characters long, contain at least one number, and may not contain spaces, %, & or +
  5. Agree to abide to the Privacy Policy, Subscriber Agreement, Cookie Policy.
  6. Click “Create”
  7. You should receive a “Redemption Successful” message on the screen and you will also be sent an email from Dow Jones asking you to confirm your email address.
  8. Login to your JCC email account and confirm your email address.

In the browser tab where you created the account you will proceed to a page that provides you with options for enhanced services from the Wall Street Journal that you may sign up for if you wish.  To simply access the Wall Street Journal, click the “Continue to wsj.com” link on the upper right hand side of your screen.

In the future you simply need to point your browser to wsj.com and login.

Note: You will need to re-register your account every 90 days.
